My adorable little love! A whopping 18lbs of chubby love!! He is growing so fast and showing us that he has the most wonderful little personality. Definitely a charmer- he will catch your eye and shoot you a sly little smile. I just can't give him enough kisses!
His hair is coming in, and it feels like velvet. He giggles and laughs and talks. Nonstop. You can't quiet him down....it is like a monotone "ahhhhhhhhhh", and honestly, gets a little annoying at times!
He hates his binky unless he is in his carseat or deliriously tired in his crib.
And finally, the little guy has started eating food. Two meals a day. So far, breakfast has been most of a mini pancake and some applesauce. For dinner he has sampled some baby food veggies, mac & cheese, pancakes, crockpot carrots, bananas, puffs, and even some frozen grapes and bananas through a mesh eater. He is not loving food as much as his sister did and he still blows raspberries on his sippy cup instead of sucking it for water, but I'm sure in time he will get it :)
At 6 months, he started to sit up on his own and really make an effort to stay up. He has improved a lot since we have been in FL and pretty much stays sitting.
He is doing so much better sleeping now and I have high hopes that he will sleep through the night once we get him back in is own crib at home. As of now, he seems to be on a good schedule of napping around 9am for an hour or so (which I hope to make a solid 2 hours...) and then back down again at 1 or 2 for another 2 hours, followed by 7pm bedtime. He is still waking at night, but lately it has been only at 2am. And so far, I have put him down 3 times in a row while he is awake and he puts himself to sleep.
If you would have told me when I was pregnant that this baby of mine STILL would not be sleeping through the night at 6 months....oh man, I would have never believed it! But it is strange, because I feel like screaming "I have not slept for more than 4 hours at a time in 6 months!" but at the same time I can't believe my baby is 6 months ALREADY!.
This picture makes me laugh. Look at Ava admiring her big brother, and then there is Emma...."someone get this kid before I drop him!"
