Happy Hanukkah!

We have been very excited to celebrate Hanukkah this year. In fact, I think I am the most excited one in our house. It is so awesome to celebrate from the "other side", and create as much fun and joy as I can for my kids. I love it!

We have been reading books at bedtime about the story of Hanukkah, listening to (some pretty horrific) music in the car (it was all the library had left!), doing lots of Hanukkah crafts, playing dreidel, and of course, decorating!

Emma's favorite decorations are the window clings, which I thought would be a great idea, but unfortunately underestimated how much she would be taking them on & off the windows. Right now, our windows look like a big pile of alphabet soup instead of the pretty "Happy Hanukkah" wishes I thought they would display.

Last night was the first night of Hanukkah, and we celebrated the best way we knew how. We lit our menorahs, ate some potato latkes, and opened presents. We love this time of year!

Happy Hanukkah!!
