While driving in the car, so she told me to get my glasses when it was sunny. When she realized I couldn't find mine she handed me hers and said "here mommy, you can use mine". This, coming from my little "sweet" girl who has recently had some not-so-sweet moments of not sharing with friends!
And I find her holding her dolls over her shoulder and cuddling them. Even little tiny plastic dolls (or animals) from the Little People.
Today while in her stroller browsing the aisles at Michael's Crafts store- she made me stop & back up so she could get the "teeny tiny little piggy". A small, breakable, piggy bank. I told her to hold him carefully so he wouldn't break. Next thing I know, she is snuggling him up to her neck saying "shhh, it's ok sweet piggy" and rubbing noses with him. Although it wasn't long before she was holding him by the string of the price tag and dangling him over the floor!
We started a weekly class called pre-school workshop. It is 1.5 hours long and involves free play, circle time, arts & crafts, and fun activities and storytime. We had our first class last week and it was awesome! We have a lot of good friends in the class, which makes it even more fun, and the 1.5 hours is surprisingly a perfect amount of time- not too rushed, and not too boring!
She had a blast pretending to be a car and ride around on her scooter pushing the gas, turning on the radio, beeping the horn....just like mommy!
We had our first snow the other day. I was so excited for her to come downstairs in the morning and see it outside, but much to my dismay, she couldn't have cared less! I brought her to the window to see it and she didn't even notice it. I then opened up the door and asked her what was all over her toys outside, and she answered me quite frankly "snow.". That was it!
But...once she noticed Felix outside putting away her toys for the winter, she got a little worried! So we bundled her up and out she went, demanding they play soccer ball.
