He followed her everywhere!
They played chase......
They danced.......
She even gave him a hug!
And this was no imaginary friend, this was her real, live shadow!!!
He was too scared to climb the big slide that was in the shade, so she moved her baby slide into the sun where he happily followed her down.
I think this was one of my favorite moments with her so far, it was awesome to watch her giggle and run around having so much fun simply chasing her own shadow! And I have to admit, we were both so excited to play with "John"- jumping on him, offering him a snack, chasing him....that at times, I even caught myself thinking he was real!
We came home early this afternoon from running errands to take advantage of the fabulous weather we were having! We threw down the blanket, had a picnic, played in the yard, and even made new friends :). Today was most definitely, a great day!
