Someone had a few too many munchkins before naptime!

We hosted a small playdate this morning, and a friend of ours brought over Dunkin Donuts munchkins. Unfortunately, Emma knows what these are just from seeing the box! I had to hide them to get her to stop eating them and play with her friends instead.

Once everyone left, she even asked to go snoozy. I put her in the crib. 1:40pm. It is now 3:30pm and she has not napped- but entertained herself quite well in there. I have been serenaded through the monitor by everything from Barney's "I love you" to "Twinkle Twinkle" this afternoon and everything in-between!

This is also how we are woken up each morning. She has a toy musical guitar in her crib that plays farm songs- and instead of her crying, or yelling for us, we hear guitar music and "Old MacDonald" chiming through the monitor. Felix is ready to throw the guitar away, but I would much rather be woken at the crack of dawn by annoying music that keeps her happy and occupied in her crib for at least an extra hour than have to trek upstairs and get our sweet little angel out for the day by 7am!
