Happy.

Emma LIVES in her sandbox. If I had to pay $1000 for this sandbox I would have! We have spent countless hours playing in here in the afternoon, and it is the best way to spend the day.......she has such an amazing imagination when she is playing in here, and I get to just sit back on a chair with my feet up, relaxing, and watching her.


Even better is when Felix is with us. This has got to be the best time of year, I love it. The weather is perfect, the days are long, and Felix is home. We have grilled out on the deck several times already, the windows are open, the birds are chirping, and everyone is just happy!



It really doesn't get much better than this!

The other day I took Emma for a playdate where she got to ride on a pony, how cool is that! Of course, I knew she would be terrified, but I actually got her to sit on the pony. She held on to me with a death grip as I did a loop around the field with them (walking next to the poor pony, definitely NOT sitting on top with her!). By the middle of the ride I even had her singing her horsey song that we made up when she rides her rocking horse.
