We thought we would give the new backpack carrier that we scored from the JCC yard sale last year a try.....so yesterday we threw Emma in there for a little practice run. She loved it and kept wanting to get back in.
And here they are, enjoying the scenes together. Emma held on tight most of the ride.

It really was a perfect day! Not too hot, not too cold, and pretty empty on the beach.

It really was a nice day. After the beach we tried out a new restaurant for lunch, and drove home while Emma napped in the car. We finished the evening at home by organizing the backyard with all of Emma's toys. Well... let's be honest.... Felix hosed off her toys and filled up her sandbox etc, while Emma & I sat on the deck eating dinner on the picnic table, playing, and watching Felix do all the work!
