Such A Sweetie!

I thoroughly enjoyed watching Emma eat dinner this evening. She was just such a sweet little girl, trying her hardest to have a conversation with me, smiling, and really concentrating on getting all the applesauce out of the bowl and onto her spoon all by herself.

Last week was pretty rough for Emma when I tried to leave her at the gym daycare. This week, however, was a COMPLETELY different story!

Saturday when we pulled up to the gym in the car, she said "no, no" in the parking lot but was just fine once she got to the room with Gladys the daycare lady, her milk cup, and her binky.

Sunday she was a little hesitant in the car, but once we got upstairs she ran to the daycare door, knocked on the childproof door and said "mommy, open!", ran to Gladys and said "bye bye mommy".

Today- as soon as I pulled into our parking spot, while STILL in the car she said "bye bye mommy"! She climbed all the steps up to the gym, ran to Gladys- didn't even look back, jumped in her arms and just snuggled with her in the rocking chair as I signed her in and left. Seriously, didn't even look at me to say bye.

I am happy she likes it there so much- it was very stressful leaving a screaming child just to go do something alone for myself. Now, we can both enjoy our mornings and that makes me feel much more relaxed starting off each day!
