More Fun At Newport

Me, Felix & Emma went to Newport on Tuesday to meet with Virginia & her family before she heads off to school. We had a great time getting to see their new historic home, eating lunch at Red Parrot (of course), and even some gelato as a nice unexpected treat! It was an absolutely beautiful day!

When we were on our way home, Emma was crying in the back of the car. She was so hungry and just insisted on eating her lunch by the water! So... we pulled over near the pier and fed her on a park bench with the beautiful view.


Then- on Thursday Emma had a very special visitor come stay with us. Omar came to meet her and then headed off with Felix to offer his Water Polo Olympic expertise to the team.

We had a great time. But then..... Emma got VERY upset when I left her in the babysitting room at the gym for the first time (usually her Daddy watches her). When they came to get me out of my aerobics class, I had never heard her scream so loud. I think all the loud noises from the music in the adjoining rooms got her startled. She got herself so worked up that she spit up all over me when I took her.
We left the gym and went on a walk/run outside. I think we both enjoyed it much better.... the fresh air did us both a little good! Let's see if we still enjoy our daily outdoor exercise when it is 20 degrees outside!!!!!
