Here is our old ugly one:
so I convinced Felix to bring it home (even though he HATES picking up furniture off the street).
He just couldn't see the potential that I did.....
Here is what the tabletop looked like before (ignore all the food we had on there, we were prepping for the baby naming)
After Dad & I (well mostly dad!) sanded it down, here is what the top looked like
Finally, I had to paint the chairs white (what you see white was initially painted blue). I painted the chairs a week after I had finished painting the legs.... and they were SUCH a pain to paint! The spindles on the bottom legs were so annoying, it was miserable. Dad told me.... no matter what the project is, it will always take longer than you think. Boy was he right!!!
The table only had 2 chairs along with it.... so we are looking for 4 more chairs to match so I can finally get rid of my Target folding chairs I have been using for 5 years!!
My next project will be to paint the ugly wall paneling white. It will be a BIG project for me to do alone, so I think I will take a break with the painting before I start that one. I'm a bit "painted out".
We also are trying to learn about how to take care of our lawn & (potential gardens) in the front and back yard.
So much to do as a homeowner!!!!!

you can always get a job! :)
I think Felix should paint the walls for ya! :)
That table looks great now! Good job! When do you find time to do all that in between nursing??
Exactly!!! Thanks for the support!!! That is probably why the projects always take longer than expected........ I'm thinking when I paint the walls, I can put her in the bjorn and nurse at the same time (jk)
