Happy Birthday to My Love

Yesterday, July 4th, was Felix's birthday. We had plans to go to ..... where else...... Newport of course! But, Felix has been driving to MIT all week so he wanted to stay local instead. We ended up spending some nice family time together at home. I made a big breakfast of eggs and french toast and then we watched Shrek the Third from netflix before heading to Bertuccis for an early dinner.
Here is Felix with his semi-homemade molten chocolate birthday cake with ice cream on top! He also got a special birthday card from Baby Emma this year.
Once we got home from dinner, I took a much needed nap and woke up just in time to "hear" the last of the fireworks. Happy 4th everyone!!!!!!! Maybe one year we will actually make it to SEE the fireworks!

Emma is always sooooooooo peaceful as soon as she is on her daddys chest!
There we go! We are finally starting to see some expressions on our little baby girl's face!
