Emma had her first bottle last week. It was nice for Felix to bond with her by being able to feed her, I think they both liked it. And I liked it too because Emma slept for 7 hours after drinking it!!
My older sister Steph, Roger, and the kids came to visit and arrived late last night. It was so nice for them to meet Emma- and let me tell you, it was so weird for ME to introduce MY BABY to my older sister! I felt like a grown up- I'm so glad we are close so we can enjoy these times together, and I can't wait to see how the cousins play together!!!
Speaking of which, Emma met some of her cousins for the first time this morning. Ava was very excited to see the "teeny baby" and Gavin wanted to lean in to her crib and give her a kiss. I think they are going to be great friends!
After meeting Emma, the kids watched TV while Steph prepared them breakfast. I thought it was funny how Gavin set himself up with an extra pillow- it made his head angle forward but he didn't seem to mind! He was also very nice and after helping himself to a blanket, he got one for his sister as well.
We only got to spend a few hours together before they headed off to Sesame Street in PA, but it was very fun. These two were much more talkative and friendly this visit- I hope they aren't scared of their Uncle Felix anymore!!!!
