Happy 1st Anniversary To Us!

Time has just FLOWN by!!!!! I can't believe 1 year ago, we were getting married. How has it been a year already?? We have a new job, a new house, and a new baby due in 19 days!!!!!! How did we get so lucky?

I took the day off work today and we started the day off at the doctors office for our weekly prenatal appointment. Apparently my blood pressure is still high, so we are checking that more frequently- and although I am not dilated yet, the doc said my body is getting ready to have this baby since my cervix has shortened..... woohoo.

After the doctors appointment, we celebrated our anniversary together today by heading out to Newport. We ate at our favorite restaurant and then headed down to the beach to relax. We had plans to walk along the cliff walk..... but I am not really up to it these days.

Felix unfortunately, is not really a fan of the beach. Something about the sun....and the sand....that he doesn't like.

He is also not really a fan of when I kiss him in public. I guess he spoiled me today since it was our anniversary!
I would love to list all the reasons I love my husband so much and feel like the luckiest girl alive to be married to him..... but he knows, I tell him all the time. Some of the highlights recently of why I love him are because he takes care of me when I tell him that I need to rest, he cooks, cleans, fixes things, kills bugs, takes care of our dog(s), and makes sure we have everything we need. He makes me feel like his life is centered around me and our family, and I love him for that, because he is the center of my life!!! He is also such an amazing person in the way he helps others, really a role model for all. AND.... he knows his faults, (which he tells me he will not change) but at least he is aware!!!!
They say the 1st year of marriage is the hardest.... well, if this past year was the hardest.... then we have A LOT to look forward to, because this past year was one of the most amazing years of our lives!!!
