New Years in Florida

We always spend New Years in Florida- and this year was very special. After I visited Gainesville to see the new addition to the Dunn family, I drove to Orlando and met up with Felix's family for lunch. Then, I headed down to West Palm to meet up with Felix & my family. We celebrated Rogers birthday on New Years Eve, and then the next day went to Ft.Myers beach for 4 days. My parents set up a nice mini vacation for the whole family at a condo on the beach. It was a 3 bedroom condo and we had Mamare & Grandaddy, Mom & Dad, me & Felix, Steph, Roger, and the kids, and Jackie & Dave. It was VERY cozy!!
Unfortunately, the 2 full days that we were there- it was about 30-40 degrees!!! We still made the best of it. And little Gavin thinks the beach is where you go to play when it is cold outside!!

Here is Ava & Gavin playing in a hole in the sand they dug. And then- trying to fly a kite.

Ava came to cuddle with mom & dad on their air mattress in the living room.

Opening hanukah presents (we wait to celebrate until we are all together. Gavin loved the play-doh we got him.

Here is Mamare & Grandaddy bringing out the beach toys to play with! Dressed for warmth!

Felix keeping Mamare nice & warm.

Me, Jackie & Mamare sneaking in the chairs for a few minutes to block the wind.

Adorable little Ava!!! The first day we got there- the kids actually went in the water. The water was surprisingly warm, and they LOVED it.
