I'll Tell You One Thing- I Know What I Like!

If you have ever gone shopping with me- it is usually a very quick process. I can scan the store quickly, pick out what I like and then I am outta there! I used to HATE going to the store with people and stroll the aisles taking forever to decide what to buy. So anyways, I have been looking online for baby items that I would be interested in and have had a hard time finding a stroller that I think I will like. I am saying "I" because Felix has made it clear on more than one occassion that he will never know the difference and frankly, doesn't really care what the stroller looks like, as long as it pushes the baby! Well- one day we were in the mall and I saw a woman pushing her stroller and I said to Felix "there- that is the one I want"! I immediately knew!!! So I found it, and luckily it is the same type of stroller that super-mom Steph recommends! I went to babies r us today just to have a looksie, and would you believe it- they are actually DISCONTINUING the pattern that I have come to know and love! So, they had 3 boxes left of the stroller and only the store model left of the carseat. I know it is a bit early to be stocking up on baby items- but after consulting Felix & Steph, and knowing I can return these beautiful clearance items if need be... I bought it! It is made by Graco- the stroller is the Metro Lite LX, and the pattern collection I love is Heirloom in black & white- apparently the stroller is very light and easy to use. The carseat holds babies up to 30lbs... which is good except I probably won't be able to carry a carseat with a 30lb baby in it anyways!!! Unfortunately the store has already run out of the Graco Playard (pack & play) in the pattern that I like- but that is ok!! A funny story though- when I went to NY to visit Gina in September I remember briefly seeing her pack & play for Sable and I came home thinking that I had really liked that pattern and that if/when I got pregnant I would ask her what it was. Well- I called her today after I had bought the stroller.. and sure enough- her pack & play was the Heirloom pattern!!!! I tell ya, when I see something I like- I just know it! I must admit- having the carseat in my car on the way home got me TOTALLY excited to meet this baby!!! It is becoming more & more a reality every day. I can't believe Felix & I are going to be parents!!!!!!
